Meat Mania!!

I am loving Safeway today!
I stopped in to Safeway to pick up Welch's grape juice for $.99.  While I was there, I figured I would check out the clearance sections.  Oh, am I glad I did.  I got everything in the picture above for under $40.00.  I actually paid $28.05 because I had $10 in catalinas from the Kraft cheese deal.

Here's what I got:
  • Cottage cheese 32 oz. $4.69 50% off =  $2.24
  • 3 dozen Land o'Lakes eggs $2.99 50% off  = 1.49 used (3) $.75/1 MQ (these were actually on the egg cartons!) = $.50 dozen
  • 3 Welch's grape juice $1.99 ea w/in-ad coupon used (3) $1/1 MQ = $.99 ea
  • Pork sausage roll $3.59 50% off = $1.79
  • Turkey Store ground turkey 93/7  $6.29 75% off = $1.57
  • 2 pkgs Oscar Mayer Boiled Ham lunch meat $3.29 75% off = $.82 ea
  • 4 pkgs Foster Farms Italian Turkey Meatballs $4.49 75% off = $1.12 ea
  • 1.3 lb Round Steak $5.19 50% off = $2.59
  • 1 lb Round Steak $4.84 50% off = $2.42
  • .92 lb Round Steak $4.69 50% off = $2.34
  • 1 pkg 85/15 ground beef $5.05 50% off = $2.52
  • 1 pkg 85/15 ground beef $4.13 50% off = $2.06
  • Sanderson Farms Whole Roaster $7.84 50% off = $3.92
  • Sanderson Farms Split Chicken Breasts $7.04 50% off = $3.52
  • 2 pkgs Boulder Breakfast Sausage $4.99 ea 75% off = $1.25

I pretty much figured out what I was going to do with everything while in the store.  It started with the eggs and a quest to find some sausage or other breakfast meat.  I wanted to make some egg casseroles to freeze for later.  Freezer cooking has become my new passion.  I'll post later about what I ended up making with my haul.

Target 3/3/2012 - Where the @*#$% are my coupons?

I love Target and I had a bunch of different deals I wanted to do today.  Unfortunately, my two precious angels went with me to the store.  No big deal, the 13 year old can look after the 4 year old while they cruise the toys and I do my shopping, right?  You would think.  They weren't too horrible until I'm checking out and the 4 year old starts crying, completely distracting me from my coupons getting rung up.  I ended up having to go back to the store to get $32.00 refunded to me for the 8 missed $4-Schick Hydro Silk coupons.  The kid checking me out swiped them but didn't notice they weren't subtracting from my total.  Enough ranting, here's what I got today:

Super Deal on Always Clearance at Target

I found Always Overnight Maxi Pads with Wings 28-ct on clearance for $2.77.  I bought three boxes and used (3) $1/1 MQ from the PG 4/3/11 or the RP 3/20/11.  So, I got 3 boxes for $5.31.  Great deal but it gets better.  These prompted the current $5 Gift card deal, so I paid $5.31 and received a $5 Target gift card!
